America '22: Through the lens of @byeponyboy
Back in April I joined the Ringers Western team for the ultimate cowgirl's dream trip - and what a ride it was!
We partied hard in California, rode through the hills of Utah at Zion Mountain Ranch, watched ranchers at the snow covered Diamond Cross Ranch in Wyoming, and wrapped it all up in Texas to watch the PBR world finals.
It really was the trip of a lifetime, filled with plenty of memories & lots of cold beer!
Indio, California
To kick-off we drove through the picturesque Joshua tree and found ourselves at Stagecoach festival, where we got to see some of the biggest country music stars from Zach Bryan to Luke Combs. It was the perfect chance to show off the Ringers gear to the American's. The Olivia boots were definitely loved by the Californian cowgirls at heart.
Zion National Park, Utah
After a few days of boot scootin' and beer drinkin' it was time to hit the road to Utah and give the breathtaking Zion Mountain Ranch a visit. During our stay we got to ride some beautiful quarter horses across the 8,000 acres of ranch and national park - home to an abundance of Bison.
The ranch is a family run business, and we felt right at home staying in their cabins perched amongst the iconic mountain landscape.
Wyoming
On our way to the next destination, we drove through Yellowstone National Park and stoped to take it all in. Trust me, the pictures don't do it justice.
Arriving next in Jackson Hole, we got to watch some roping action at Diamond Cross Ranch. Even though it was late spring, the mountains were still snow capped, so we rugged up in our finest jackets and jeans.
After a big day watching the true American cowboys do their stuff, we couldn't help but stop in at the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar to sink a few beers and play some pool with the locals.
Fort Worth, Texas
We parked the truck for the last time in Fort Worth, Texas, just in time for the PBR world final championships.
Upon arrival we ventured to the stock yards where we saw longhorns strolling down the main street of town...definitely something you don't get to see everyday !
The short-sleeve work-shirts and men's work shorts were a massive hit with our fellow Texans, and we had an absolute blast watching the best bull riders in the world in the Dickies arena - the culture there was second to none.
It was sad to depart the crew after a jam-packed few weeks, however it was time for the them to get back to the office, and for me to continue my journey across the states.
